✨ Position Overview
To support our next stage of growth, Impact Reporting is now looking for a talented individual to join the growth team as an Account Manager. Straddling both pre-sales and key account management, this role is best suited for someone who enjoys being the “voice of the customer”. You will join a dynamic and exciting startup based in the heart of the Northern Quarter in Manchester to support organisations to understand and improve the true scale of their social and environmental impact and do MORE real good.
What you’ll do
- As a commercially-minded Account Manager, your primary goal will be to connect with both existing and potential clients and secure 15+ high-quality meetings each month.
- You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, generating leads, cold-calling, scheduling meetings and doing exploratory calls and demonstrations with prospective customers.
- You’ll play a key role in building the sales pipeline and organising product demos by utilising various channels such as cold-calling, marketing leads, social media, and self-generated prospects.
- A builder and maintainer of relationships, you’ll also play a pivotal role in defining the customer experience and will be responsible for customer relationship management, regular outreach and client retention to maximise customer lifetime value.
- You’ll serve as a regular point of contact with our key accounts, conducting account reviews, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and leading contract renewal drafting and negotiations.
- You’ll act as an advocate, proactively championing and communicating customer needs and insight to the wider organisation and be adept at suggesting new and innovative ways to keep them succeeding in both the short and long term.
- You’ll work alongside our product and training teams during customer onboarding to ensure seamless adoption and engagement with our platform, and to identify and pursue opportunities to expand the user base and deepen product adoption within existing accounts.
- The chosen candidate will also support our partnership and reseller strategy and be open to networking and attending events as needed.
With a supportive sales team and database of prospects at your fingertips, you’ll be engaging with decision-makers across a variety of industries, working to understand their ESG and Social Impact reporting needs and scheduling those crucial initial conversations. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and deliver results, this role is built for you. High earning potential and professional development opportunities for the right individual as we enter the next phase of growth!
